FE 5000 Hospital Bed

All surfaces of the FE 5000 are designed with infection control in mind and are extremely easy to clean. Its revolutionary removable ICO option panels further facilitates hygiene via total access to these panels.
Starting with electronic high-low and backrest as standard, the FE 5000 allows you to choose electronic tilting and knee-break options.

Also available is Medicraft Hill-Rom’s specially designed “comfort function” control unit. This unit incorporates a hand control device covering five different functions which combine the electronic backrest and knee-break movement to enhance patient comfort and prevent slippage down the bed. Not only does this provide increased flexibility for positioning your patients (and increasing their comfort), it also reduces the risk of injuries to patients and staff alike.
Add to this an optional built-in extension to cater for the comfort of taller patients, a nurse lockout facility to prevent the use of any electronic function for added safety of patients, standard quick release mechanism for CPR and you soon realise why the FE 5000 sets the standard for the modern day hospital bed.
