Hill-Rom VersaCare® Bed The VersaCare® Bed System offers superior patient comfort and intuitive controls for easy operation. Low Hospital Bed — This high-low hospital bed system offers the lowest height in acute care, allowing for safer, easier exit and entry, reducing the risk of falls. LowChair® positioning — The VersaCare bed’s positioning feature helps caregivers quickly and easily reposition patients to a chair position while still keeping the VersaCare bed in its lowest height. FlexAfoot® mechanism — This VersaCare bed feature helps keep patients from sliding down in bed, reducing the need for caregivers to pull up patients. FlexAfoot™ supports the patient’s feet, helping to prevent foot drop. It also provides protection to the patient’s vulnerable heel area. Turn Assist — An option with the Active Integrated Response® treatment mattress, the VersaCare Turn Assist makes it easy for a caregiver to position a patient and more easily complete routine tasks, such as examinations or linen changes. IntelliDrive® power-assist transport system — With this optional feature, a single caregiver can easily transport patients throughout the facility without strenuous pushing.
Active Integrated Response® treatment mattress — VersaCare’s® mattresses are integrated into the bed design, minimizing siderail gaps and reducing the risk of entrapment. This option uses zones of continuous low pressure to reduce the chance of skin ulcers. It also contains the latest anti-shear liners and stretchable ticking to minimize shear. And, with its Max Inflate function, transfers are easier for both patients and caregivers. PrimeAire® ARS pressure relief mattress — An easy-to-use, non-powered air surface, PrimeAire® ARS for the VersaCare® provides the benefits of an air surface at an economical cost.
